FALL TABLESCAPES AND TASTY TREATS
Visitors entering the Southern AZ Fall Home Show will be greeted by a beautiful tablescape that’s a stunning display of seasonal elegance. Created by Frenchy’s Wedding & Event Rentals of Tucson, it displays a cozy and inviting atmosphere for celebrating Autumn's beauty. We hope that this special feature will inspire you to create your own unique tablescapes for fall celebrations!
Here are two tasty culinary creations that your guests can enjoy before the meal, and that are perfect for cozy occasions in cooler weather:
Autumn Aperol Spritz
Add some diced apples, cinnamon sticks and star anise to ice cube trays or molds, then fill each with apple cider (or ice water) and freeze until solid.
Dip the edge of each glass in simple syrup, then into cinnamon-sugar. Place one frozen cube in each glass and add 2 oz. Aperol Italian aperitif and 2.5 oz. apple cider. Top each glass with Prosecco.
Pumpkin-Prosciutto Bites
Pumpkin’s not just for pies! In a food processor, cream together one stick of softened butter with ¼ cup canned pumpkin, 2 tsp. chopped sage, and ¼ tsp. salt. Spread on two-inch square pieces of thin-sliced bread (such as Pepperidge Farm, or mini-loaf bread) and top with pieces of thinly-sliced prosciutto.
Goat Cheese-Cranberry Log
Make a festive-looking cheese spread by bringing a goat cheese log to room temperature and rolling it in a mixture of finely chopped roasted pistachios and dried cranberries. Drizzle with honey and serve with thin toasts, crostini or crackers.
