***YOUR MOVE IN DAY IS BASED ON YOUR BOOTH LOCATION.*** Check the move in map to see what day you are able to drive in.

There is NO moving in early or driving into the venue outside of your designated day. If you choose to move in after your scheduled day, it will be hand carry or carting only.

Move-in Hours:

Tuesday, October 22: 8 am - 7 pm 

Wednesday, October 23: 8 am - 7 pm (Booths not in the ballroom can drive in. Booths in the ballroom can hand carry or cart only)

Thursday, October 24: 8 am - 7 pm (Booths not in the ballroom can drive in until 2 pm. No vehicles allowed inside after 2 pm on Thursday due to carpet being placed in aisles. Hand-carry or cart only. Booths in the ballroom can hand carry or cart only. No vehicles allowed in the ballroom.)

Friday, October 25: 8 am - 9 am

Move-Out Hours:

Sunday, October 27:          6 pm - 9 pm

Monday, October 28:         8 am - 12 pm

Beginning the Friday the show opens, all exhibitors will need a badge to enter the show. Your badge will be good for the entirety of the weekend and you may enter from the main attendee entrance or the loading dock entrance. 

Badges should be picked up at the show office desk during move in to be passed out to your team working the booth. If a team member is unable to receive one before the show, make sure another team member will be able to meet them at the entrance to pass them a badge.

Badge quantities given out are based off of booth size. Booths smaller than 400 sq. ft. are allotted 5 badges. Booths 400 sq. ft. and larger are allotted 10. 

Exhibitor badges are not to be used as admission tickets for those you are inviting to attend the show. 

Exhibitors are responsible for flooring (required for all booths, except in the ballroom). You may supply your own flooring, tables, and chairs or rent from the show decorator. An advanced purchase discount is offered and will ensure availability of all needed items. 

As an exhibitor, you will automatically receive an email introduction email from GEMS with a username and temporary password.

There have been a number of spam emails offering our attendee lists. These are scams and the senders are unauthorized to use the Marketplace Events’ name. These scammers are attempting to receive monies from exhibiting companies without providing anything in return. These emails are not approved by Marketplace Events, and Marketplace Events would never ask for bank information or other sensitive information over email.   for more information.

Any exhibitor offering samples at the show must be approved by both Show Management and the Tucson Convention Center first. Temporary food Permits are required from the Pima County Health Department. You can find more information and the food permit form here. All temporary food permits must be emailed to Greg Carra before the start of the event. If anyone is delinquent on this, they will not be able to sample at the venue. Please email forms to Greg.Carra@tucsonaz.gov.

Free parking in lots B & C for attendees. Exhibitors must park in Ramada parking lot. There will
be a shuttle to take you from the parking lot to the venue. Two shuttles will run 1 hour before the show starts,  and 1 hour after the show ends. There will only be one shuttle running during the duration of the show.

A few things to be aware of:

• Marketplace Events is not selling this insurance and doesn’t profit from it in any way.  This is simply a resource for those vendors who don’t already have the required insurance coverage per their contracts. 

The Insurance clause is #5 on the Terms and Conditions page of all booth space contracts. You may use any insurance company for insurance, or your existing plan may already provide the necessary coverage, but it must meet the following requirements: 

• Comprehensive General Liability and All Risk Property insurance
• Coverage must be from the start of move in until the end of move out
• Coverage of at least $1,000,000 for each separate occurrence
• Name Marketplace Events LLC and the venue as additional insured
• Provide a copy of the certificate of insurance (COI) to MPE if requested

Those who engage in business activities within the City of Tucson are required to have a City of Tucson business privilege license. For the purposes of the SAHBA Home Show, this would include anybody who sells products or services at the event. It would also include any transaction in which a person contracts or puts down a deposit for services or products to be delivered at a later date whether within or outside the city limits. If the entity merely promotes its product or services, no license is required. If you plan on taking prospects’ names or making appointments, please contact us so that we can discuss with you how the Code handles such activity.
